Course Regulations and Policies

  • NTUST Student Course Selection Guidelines (Click to download attachment).
  • Credits earned from the department's major elective courses are categorized as "Major Elective Credits," and a minimum of six courses (18 credits) must be completed. Credits earned from courses offered by other departments are categorized as "General Elective Credits."
  • Retaking major elective courses is not required if a student fails.

  • Elective courses may be added, canceled, or adjusted in terms of credits, class hours, or semester offered as needed.
  • From AY 107 (2018) onwards, undergraduate students must complete at least 133 credits for graduation.
